Ophthalmologist for an eye center in BELGIUM

To strengthen our team of seven ophthalmologists, this eye center is seeking a motivated ophthalmologist to join our practice.

This eye center clinic is a dynamic and steadily growing, dedicated to delivering the highest quality of eye care across our four locations. Our team of seven ophthalmologists works closely with highly specialized staff to provide outstanding care to our patients.

With the rising demand for a glasses - and lens-free lifestyle, we are looking for a colleague with experience in cataract and refractive surgery. 

Don’t yet have the required experience but eager to specialize in this field? Within this clinic, you will have the opportunity to pursue a fellowship under the guidance of our head physician.

Our offer:

• If you have no prior experience: We offer a unique 6month fellowship in cataract, refractive, or eyelid surgery under the guidance of our head physician and experienced mentor.
• You will join a motivated team of ophthalmologists supported by highly skilled staff, ensuring optimal conditions for every physician. Our team includes optometrists, orthoptists, nurses, and an experienced medical secretariat.
• Your work will take place in a modern environment equipped with advanced technology, including an in-house operating room and a comprehensive technical platform (OCT, fluorescein, YAG, biometry, visual field, and more).
• Collaboration can be arranged on either a part-time or full-time basis, with the option to work across various locations if desired.
• You will also gain access to the extensive network of ophthalmologists within the group, of which this eye center is a member.
• We offer an attractive compensation model, with the additional option to participate in the ophthalmologist group of the clinic.

What kind of colleague are we looking for?

• You are a certified specialist in ophthalmology.
• Have an EU/EEA nationality.
• Hold an EU/EEA medical or a specialist diploma.
• You are empathetic, eager to learn, and possess strong communication skills.
• You thrive in a team environment but can also work independently with confidence.
• You have proficiency in Dutch, as well as English and French.
